[3004] Playoffs
See [1008.17] - Playoffs for general bracket structure info.
[3004.1] - Playoff Map Selection⚓︎
Playoff map selection processes are listed in match comms and may vary based on division. Team leaders are expected to be attentive toward match comms and finish pick/bans in a timely fashion. Playoff matches that are played in the best of three or five series should see all maps played in full (i.e. with half times). The format is as follows:
- The higher seed team picks to be Team A or Team B.
- For Bo3 Match Series: A Bans | B Bans | A Picks | B Picks | A Bans | B Bans | A Picks and Lists Maps
- For Bo5 Match Series: A Bans | B Bans | A Picks | B Picks | A Bans | B Bans | A Picks | B Picks and Lists Maps
Should a team reach out to the other team to complete the map pick/bans and the other team fails to respond within the 72 hour pick/ban deadline, the team that attempted contact will receive the first ban from the enemy team. Should there be a continued failure or cooperation to respond within 24 hours of the deadline, the other team will choose all of the maps for the match.
[3004.2] - Playoff Round Scheduling⚓︎
Date ranges for playoff rounds will be announced around Week 6 of the regular season. Games must be played within these ranges to avoid delays in the bracket.
[3004.3] - Invite Grand Finals Scheduling ⚓︎
The Grand Finals match for the Invite division must be scheduled a minimum of five days after the Lower Bracket Finals match to facilitate the promotion of the match. Teams may be assessed harsh prize pool penalties should this be disregarded.
